KAP Series Piano DIP Switch

KAP Series Piano DIP Switch

The KAP Series piano DIP switches employ a reliable wiping contact mechanism that ensures stable contact at low resistance. They are PC board mountable with through hole termination and come with either extended or recessed actuators with two to 12 actuator positions from which to choose. This includes a choice of top-side "OFF" or top-side "ON" configurations. The KAP Series piano DIP switch features an optional top seal designed to withstand wave soldering and board washing. The gold-plated contacts on this piano DIP switch have an initial, or switch electrical rating of 25mA of 24VDC. The carry rating, or steady-state current rating is 100mA of 50VDC. Applications for these piano DIP switches include:

  • Garage door openers
  • Test & instrumentation
  • Telecommunications
  • Controller applications
