Challenge
Throughout the process of finding a suitable piezo for smart systems, both clients were experiencing difficulties in finding switches that offered tamper-proof designs, various panel cutout sizes, wire leads to expedite the assembly process and the potential for illumination.
Solution
PZ Series Anti-Vandal, Illuminated Piezo Switch
E-Switch’s PZ Series is a fully sealed (IP68 rated) piezo switch with three different panel cutout size options (16mm, 19mm or 22mm). With its momentary/pulse function and no moving parts, the PZ Series has an extremely long electrical life of 50,000,000 cycles and a contact rating of 1A @ 5-24VDC.
The PZ Series includes 150mm or 300mm long wire leads, with connector housing, a flat or concave bezel and the potential for ring illumination with RGB color options.
