IP Seal Ratings
IP ratings are a system detailing the sealing effectiveness of enclosures of electrical equipment against the intrusion of foreign bodies, dust and moisture. Sealed switches are developed to withstand rugged use and harsh environmental elements.
Soldering Profiles
Most contamination problems can be prevented by exercising care during the cleaning and soldering process. Care should be taken not to immerse or spray unsealed switches during flux removal.
