Visual Marketing Specialist

Full Job Description

The Visual Graphic Specialist is responsible for developing a strong brand image that resonates with customers and helps increase web traffic and expand customer base. Visual Graphics – graphic design, photos, and video content are elements to increase brand awareness, and ensures that a consistent, desirable message is conveyed through the company’s communications channels that create a positive impact on the audience.

This role will assist the Marketing Manager in the development of marketing strategies to align with business objectives. Your skill set will translate technical information into visually digestible and aesthetically enticing messaging by designing marketing communication materials to increase social media followers, reach target market segments, and support the sales channel.

What does this job look like daily?

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to take creative lead in the design and development of all marketing materials and to ensure quality and consistency within brand guidelines. Includes product photos, content, video production, digital presence, social media/blog graphics, and print materials.
  • Create brand strategy to inform, persuade, enlighten, teach, remind, and enrich the knowledge of their audience about the brand, its strengths, values, fundamentals, and its offerings of products and services.
  • Developing documentation for E-Switch brand guideline and oversee that guideline is followed to meet brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to target younger audience to gain followers before they enter the workforce by tailoring customer experience.

Knowledge and Skills to be successful:

  • AA or BA in Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, Journalism or equivalent schooling and experience.
  • 3 – 5 years’ marketing experience with focus on branding and messaging execution.
  • 3 – 5 years’ graphic design experience.
  • 3 – 5 years’ web upkeep, coding, and design.
  • Portfolio of completed design projects.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (MAC environment) – Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro® or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in photography techniques and editing.
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics and SEMrush).
  • Ability to effectively communicate features and benefits of E-Switch products to end user, using the art of typography, photography, video, diagrams, or other visual communications.
  • Computer literacy with advanced usage skills of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong time management skills, self-motivations, design creativity, detail orientation, solution-orientation, commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Industry experience (Electronic/Electronic Components) is helpful.

Quality Engineer

Full Job Description

E-Switch is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. Headquartered in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. E-Switch has been delivering quality electromechanical switches to the telecom, technology, medical, electronics, instrumentation, industrial, audio/visual, appliance, and consumer markets since 1979. With offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, E-Switch serves North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for facets of engineering and quality support for the entire electromechanical switch line. The QE will give support to the sales team and customers on field returns and failure analysis.

  • Conduct failure analysis tests on customer product failures, including visiting the customer and reviewing manufacturing processes at sites
  • Establish and maintain accurate and complete quality information on all products, including; follow thru on all QC procedures such as MAR’s, CAR’s, 8D reporting and customer complaint reports
  • Work in collaboration with the Manager of Engineering on all quality needs for new product introductions of switches from suppliers
  • Test and evaluate switches for various projects
  • Support engineering to the internal and external sales force

WHAT DO YOU NEED

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing
  • Experience in manufacturing processes including plastic injection molding, metal stamping, PCB assembly, tool design and fabrication, cable assembly, and metal fabrication
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor 3D Solid Modeling
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Quality engineering skills and experience including failure analysis, 8D reporting and first article inspection
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Possess innovation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Six Sigma LEAN and Green Belt Certified preferred
