Adding Wire Leads to Switches
Selecting the right terminal option for your product assembly process will provide cost and time savings by eliminating the need to second-source wire leads while also expediting production with the ease of behind-the-panel installation.
All of E-Switch’s panel mount switches are now available with wire leads. Whether you’re looking for an anti-vandal, keylock, rocker, pushbutton, snap action, slide or toggle switch for panel mounting, each product type can now be outfitted with customized wire leads.
Options include attached leads, a molded protective boot or a detachable socket with leads. Wired options are color-coded for convenience and compatible with a variety of connectors.
Adding Connectors to your Cable Assembly
Connectors are semi-permanent devices that are part of a circuit but can be removed and replaced when the circuit is off. They’re designed to link various components within a circuit by establishing physical connections between switches, wires, cables or devices and to facilitate the flow of signals or power.
They effectively serve as bridges and allow the flow of signals or power between different parts of a circuit. They’re designed to provide a secure and reliable physical connection, and the corresponding form is tailored to the specific application — like a socket, pin, jack or plug.
E-Switch’s new ECM Series offers free hanging plug housing with 3mm spacing. This wire-to-wire receptacle to plug system features a low profile design and accommodates two to 10 poles. It’s rated for up to 5A max and 250VAC and operates in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +85°C.
